Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach is now seeking an Housekeeping Attendant to join our team in Dubai, UAE.

Job Summary

This position is responsible to perform to clean guest room to the correct standards and to ensure standards are maintained with regards to room amenities and cleanliness.

Main Duties

  • Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reports any lost items to the supervisor immediately after being discovered or to the order taker in the office.
  • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of the hotel’s facilities and local services, supplying information and responding to the guest s queries.
  • Call guest by name whenever possible.
  • Clean the required number of rooms (a minimum of 10 per day) to the correct standards advised by his / her supervisor.
  • Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks
  • Remove room service trays from the room and places them in service area.
  • Report any damage or loss in guest rooms.
  • Advice the supervisor of any maintenance required in the rooms.
  • Clean and take care of all working equipment.
  • Maintains tidiness and stock of trolley, and make sure your trolley not full off soiled linen.
  • Ensure guest corridors are well maintained, vacuumed and cleaned and ensure that doors are also kept clean.
  • Necessary coordination in all HK related inventories
  • Report any suspicious persons, DO NOT DISTURBS . Sleep out, etc.
  • Other Duties

  • Communicates daily with other room attendants and offers assistance where applicable.
  • Establish, promotes and maintains good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest’s expectations.
  • Train and advice new room attendant
  • Attends any training session or communication meetings as advertised by his / her supervisor.
  • Co-operates in the performance of any reasonable task requested by the hotel’s managers, executives or guests.
  • Complies with personal responsibilities under the health and safety policy of the hotel.
  • Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury.
  • Carries out fire, safety and evacuation procedures as required by the fire policy of the hotel.
  • Reports any hazard and follow up to ensure action is taken.
  • Maintains a high level of personal hygiene at all the time.
  • Be environmentally aware & dispose waste accordingly
  • EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATION

  • Good communication skills, Positive attitude
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Committed to delivering high levels of customer service
  • Excellent grooming standards
  • Ability to work on their own or in teams
  • Trustworthy and reliable
  • Any other reasonable duties as directed by the Executive Housekeeper.
