Purpose To champion all communications and Branding concepts and strategies both within the Hotel and externally thus maximizing hotels brand awareness in line with the hotels positioning statement within the targeted markets Responsibilities -

Prepare the hotels annual Marketing and Communications budgets in line with the hotels marketing plan Create the hotels yearly branding and communication plan in conjunction with the hotels yearly marketing plan so as to support and drive market penetration and overall sales effectiveness -

Develop pro-active communication and advertising plans monthly and yearly aimed at achieving results and developing awareness thus maximizing the power of branding worldwide -

Develop opportunities for sponsorships partnerships that will enhance and support branding thus maximizing market penetration and exposure through endorsement by third parties -

Create and monitor website exposure that will support market penetration and awareness in local and global markets in line with positioning and branding requirements -

Review with Director of Marketing and Sales all Advertising agencies both local and international to ensure that not only the hotels brand guidelines are adhered to but to enhance the overall hotels performance through this medium -

Expand key relationships with Public Relations consultants Advertising Agencies Events Management consultants suppliers etc -

Develop and maintain a media contact data base similar to Sales with account listings - Develop and maintain close relationship with both local and major feeder market media contacts to maximize opportunities for exposure and develop not only awareness but third party endorsement of the hotel through these channels -

Monitor develop as well as control distribution of hotel collateral and publications where appropriate - Support and assist in the development of Food and Beverage collateral advertising and promotional activities in conjunction with the Food and Beverage Director and Director of Sales Marketing -

Be the champion of hotel Branding thus cascading communications that supports the hotels core essence concepts withinall communication methods -

Develop the hotels photographic library for quick reference easy usage procedures with focus on being customer friendly -

Develop press release concepts that are creative yet informative - Play a key role in the guest arrival experience of incoming VIPs special groups and media contacts Requirements-

Bachelors Degree and or Hotel Management degree or diploma - Two years hotel marketing experience of which at least two years at the senior manager -

Demonstrated knowledge experience in advertising and promotional activities - Computer literacy a must with a strong knowledge of Word Excel Word Outlook and PowerPoint and other creative softwares -

Highly energetic with demonstrated exceptional organization and communication skills - Creative and effective leader possessing a high degree of professionalism -
