  • Accountable for program design, development and initial implementation for all total rewards programs
  • Builds programs that recognize employees as consumers with diverse interests
  • Scales programs for local implementation and partners with HRBPs and GBSC-HR on ongoing administration and delivery
  • Act as consultants to HR and business leaders on a wide variety of Total Rewards issues
  • Total Rewards programs include all compensation programs, work / life experience, mobility, benefits, and health & wellness programs
  • Role

  • Provides ongoing program design and analytical support for Mastercard's Total Rewards programs
  • Develops reports and conducts analyses to track the cost and performance of current and proposed rewards programs
  • Performs and reviews benchmarking and market analysis and identifies insights on Total Rewards positioning
  • Evaluates and recommends improvements to analytics processes and / or tools
  • Resolves complex employee issues that are escalated from GBSC-HR and assists in addressing employee questions and vendor issues
  • Works with vendors and the GBSC-HR to ensure service delivery
  • Analyzes quantitative and qualitative rewards market trends and best practices to identify implications for relevant rewards programs
  • Assists with M&A Integration analysis and performs due diligence analyses
  • Works with GBSC-HR on the effective management of Total Rewards data and technology in Workday and third party systems. Has expertise in Total Rewards systems and process flows
  • Participates in a robust peer review process and guides junior level colleagues and applies judgement regarding when to escalate issues or concerns
  • Develop (in conjunction with the Director Total Reward) a suite of tools, techniques and training materials to assist HR & Country teams in managing Reward issues locally.
  • All about you

  • First degree and ideally further professional qualification (e.g. GRP, CIPD)
  • Track record in data analysis and reporting including excellent excel skills
  • Proven oral and written communication, influencing and relationship management skills
  • Experience of project management and execution with the line
  • Prior experience working in an international HR environment, preferably within reward
  • Knowledge of Benefit structures across African markets
