Job purpose
eWavelength works with their clients to drive awareness of the client’s brand through PR and other communication techniques.
Developing a Brand, Communications and PR strategy to support the brand ethos. The eWavelength team and PR Account managers, work alongside the clients’ marketing, digital and social media teams to deliver a holistic plan and increase brand awareness for the company on a global scale.
OPERATIONAL
PR Projects at eWavelength involve the following :
Weekly tasks - key focus of role - 10-20 hrs a month
write press releases
Edit and review with Stakeholders
Strong Client management skills is vital
Develop strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
Coordination of Google ads and website updates as part of overall communications required to support PR.
Prepare monthly reports for PR - showing value produced and clippings
Responsible for Communications to International Press for events
Must have a large network of contacts across GCC to sell stories to
PR Contacts with and the rest of the world also highly beneficial
Website updates
Manage website updates as well as PR
Likely to be required to write text for website and social media as well and work with IT team to get events information published on website
Monthly support tasks
Support with on strategy development, content creation, and PR strategy.
Understand how to deal with crisis management for events
Demonstrate excellent communication and copywriting skills.
Once every 6 months Survey the competitors and their strategies and promotions.
Create content for press releases
If requested support with website blogs, e-newsletters, and all communication touch points.
Ad hoc Support
Support events aligned with PR content.
Be present at evening events and assist onsite
Manage press inquiries and interview requests
Crisis management - present solutions in times of PR crisis.
Track media coverage and social media mentions and communicate results to team.
Responsible for media relations programs throughout the Globe and GCC
Management of communications strategy and stories for events
Communications to International Press for events
Define advertising budget to build awareness for advertorials / conferences where needed.
Recommend ideas for the leadership team as part of brand building

Provide a daily report of media updates and coverage for the media campaigns that will be initiated.

Minimum Experience
Experience of running Communications and PR strategy plans across fast-paced brands.
Educational Qualifications
BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in communications and public relations leading successful campaigns.
Established relationships with both GCC and national business and industry media outlets.
Exceptional writing, communication and editing skills.
Must communicate case studies of PR
Experience with PR and Social Media publishing tools
Experience with social media including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Experience in corporate communications, and project management a plus.
Technical Knowledge
Added benefit but not a requirement : Experience with Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and knowledge of search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an advantage
