Position Title : Investment Analyst
Reports to : Senior Manager Investments & Group CFO

Job Description : JOB PURPOSE :
JOB PURPOSE :
Filtering investment ideas, performing investment analysis, conducting due diligence, trade executions, accounting, managing counterparty relationships and reporting.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES / TASKS (List only the key deliverables)
1.Monitor and assess economic and market trends
2.Assist in sourcing and identifying investment opportunities based on the portfolio fit
3.Perform analysis and due diligence on ideas / products / asset managers
4.Liaise with counterparties (banks / brokers / advisors / asset managers) and other market participants on trade ideas and executions
5.Maintain appropriate accounting (and order booking) for all transactions
6.Prepare and present investment reports
7.Administrative work (Documentation, KYC, etc.) related to the investment portfolio
8.Assist in M & A transactions
9.Financial analysis on operating business units.

JOB COMPLEXITY :
Multi-asset and multi-geography portfolio; Requires understanding of macro-economics, different asset classes, financial markets and types of investment products.
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS (INTERNAL & EXTERNAL) :
Internal (within Business Unit) Investment Committee, Legal Team
External (outside Business Unit) Brokers, bankers, asset managers, custodians and other market participants
FRAMEWORKS / BOUNDARIES, & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY :
Ongoing portfolio maintenance. Independently manage investment analysis, accounting and reporting
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS :
1.Proven 5 7 years experience as an Investment Analyst working with family offices / Asset Managers / Investment Banks / Advisory firms.
2.Understanding of financial markets, investment concepts, economics, statistics
3.Excellent analytical skills.
4.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
5.Preferably CFA Charter holder
