Job Role : Scrum Master - UAENational
This position is onlyfor UAE Nationals.
Role Purpose :
The Scrum Master is responsible for coachingand coordinating Agile Delivery Squads to deliver as efficiently aspossible.
At a team level, he is the centralcoordinator and fixer of all issues ensuring the Agile squad candeliver with minimal blockers.
Although notable to fix all issues he will co-ordinate and own their resolutionwithin the team.
He must support the ProductOwner in refining and grooming the Product Backlog to a level whichis acceptable for the delivery squad to estimate anddeliver.
He will co-ordinate and plan allScrum ceremonies and ensure the Agile processes are beingfollowed.
The Scrum Master ensures that theScrum process is used as intended.
Keep theDevelopment Team in alignment with the Scrum framework, values andprinciples, and ensure the team is focused on continuousimprovement
Enforces daily builds to detectearly issues in the compiled and aggregated code, as well as in thefunctionality delivered.
Facilitate DailyScrums, Sprint Planning, Product Backlog refinement, SprintReviews, Sprint, Retrospectives, release planning, and other teamactivities as required

Work closely with theTechnical Delivery Manager, Program Manager, and Business Expertsto ensure visibility and resolution of technical and businesschallenges
Actively participate inorganizational Agile activities
Promote andsupport the Development Team’s automatedprocesses
Assist the team in implementing theprocess improvements they've defined in the SprintRetrospectives
Support the Product Owner inwriting effective Product Backlog Items and maintaining theprioritized backlogs for multiple products as the DevelopmentTeam’s provide estimates for the upcomingitems
Assist the Product Owner in the Storyrefinement process
Develop and maintainrelevant metrics that guide the Development Team to more efficientprocesses in their work and in satisfying their Product Owner andstakeholders.
Identify and manage dependencieswith other internal or external teams
Workclosely with Project Management to ensure proper project andportfolio reporting, including active risk management.
Key Accountabilities of therole :
Scrum / AgileMethodology
Facilitate Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Product Backlogrefinement, Sprint Reviews, Sprint, Retrospectives, releaseplanning, and other team activities as required
Support the Product Owner in writing effective ProductBacklog Items and maintaining the prioritized backlogs for multipleproducts as the Development Team’s provide estimates forthe upcoming items.
Ensure planning meetingsfully prepare the team for the upcoming Sprints andrelease
Track, resolve and report incidentsand known errors through the approved processes.
Attend all the team meetings, one to onemeetings to have a high level of communication culture.
Timely response to email, tasks assigned and effectivefollow up with various stakeholders.
Preparetasks status reports and submit to stakeholders on timelybasis.
Documentation / Process Ownership
The incumbent is responsible take ownership, maintain& update documented processes or documentation related tohis job function.
In the event where processesor documentation are shared, the incumbent shall be responsible toinform the owner of any document about required changes orimprovements.
Co-operatewith the team members in a cohesive and professional manner andproactive good attendance habits and maintain the reportinghierarchy in all matters.
The incumbent shouldadhere to working hours which might require working for extendedhours depending on job nature and task assigned.
Maintaininformation security related to ADIB, throughout the period ofemployment.
As soon as possible, report anypotential or actual risks or incidents affecting the security ofinformation to the helpdesk.
Maintain RiskFree / control IT environment at ADIB.

3+ years as a Scrum Master / Project leadworking with dedicated agile teams using scrum orKanban.
1+ year experience working withoffshore teams / vendors.
Strong understandingand experience with software and product development especially indigital solutions.
Professional Certificationin Scrum methodologies
Experienced and havepracticed Scrum Master Methodologies and project management inBanking especially in alternative delivery channelsdomain
