Purpose of this role

  • To ensure all the finance-related functionsare properly managed Provide best in class service to internal andexternal customers in full compliance with the group Financepolicies Generate and implement fresh ideas to improve efficiencyin the Finance Department with WEIL
  • Support inplanning and effectively managing all financial activitiesincluding accounting, maintaining proper records, managementreporting, cash flow, preparations of annual budgets and rollingforecasts, Internal and statutory audit, monthly business meetings,etc Support expansion plan including tax management in taxablejurisdictions and managing accounting requirements in thesecountries
  • Ensure proper support and guidanceis provided to Operations and Sales team to achieve theorganizational goals
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Day to daymanagement of the Finance function to ensure efficient maintenanceof all books of accounts and other statutory and non-statutoryrecords per the requisite standards and policies
  • Monthly closing of books within deadlines and efficientmonitoring of all expenses, payables, receivables with the help ofsupport staff
  • Compilation of managementreports, templates and forecasts as required
  • Ensuring all procedure and polices in general and thosefor finance, in particular, are adhered to and implementedstrictly
  • Proactive involvement with operationsof the organization to ensure all issues which have a financialimpact are highlighted and solved in time
  • Preparation of monthly management reports and quarterlyreports as per corporate deadline
  • Varianceanalysis of all items expenses and assetsliabilities and highlightmajor issues where ever required
  • Ensuring allBalance sheet accounts are maintained properly and all balances arereconciled
  • Preparation and analysis offinancials for monthly business process managementmeeting
  • Preparation of annual budget as percorporate time-table
  • Updating budget on amonthly basis to ensure proper rolling forecasts
  • Support on taxation related issues of various countriesin which WEIL operates to ensure sales and operations are aware ofthe tax implications in various jurisdictions
  • Manage and prepare the financials for jurisdiction whichrequire separate books to be maintained and manage all statutoryrequirements including filing returns and payment of tax
  • Consolidation of all entities for quarterly and annualclosing and for audit purposes
  • Managestatutory and internal audit and preparation of the financialstatement
  • Liaise with bankers and othergovernment bodies whenever required and manage documentary creditetc
  • Cultivate an open, transparent, teamworking environment within the operations department fully alignedwith the Group Core Values
  • Key Qualifications and Experience

  • 8 - 10 yrs of post-qualification experience
  • Oil and Gas industry preferred
