Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join our Component Services Program (CSP) team. In this role, the focus will be on diligent and prudent business management, customer satisfaction management, strategy development, and oversight of integrated program teams (IPT) objectives and priorities, enabling the IPT to meet internal and external performance targets (including P&L).
The Program Management Office is primarily located in Seattle, WA; however, this role will be open to candidates in alternative locations, due to the global nature of the customers served and team members with whom this job interacts with.
This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite.
Position Responsibilities :
Leads day-to-day program management responsibilities in a deputized role with accountability to the Senior Program Manager.
Develops, manages, and leads Integrated Program Teams (IPTs), work structures, operating rhythms, and execution plans.
Partners with supply chain, supplier management, repair management, engineering, and IT to provide performance oversight on technical, cost, schedule, and quality.
Interfaces with key Airline customers and internal stakeholders at various levels including executives on the execution of the Component Services Program contracts.
Leads and integrates the implementation of Program Management Best Practices and lessons learned across the portfolio.
Implements customer and program communication plans and operating rhythms.
Monitors and manages departmental financial metrics to support budgetary planning and spend execution, and determines appropriate corrective actions.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience) :
12+ years' experience with program management.
12+ years' experience utilizing critical business and financial acumen to manage risks, issues, and opportunities to drive performance.
12+ years' experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and / or suppliers.
12+ years' experience developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and metrics.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience) :
Experience working with aerospace aftermarket industry.
Experience working with or at Airline customers and within aerospace supply chains.
Typical Education & Experience :
Education / experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.
g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.)
