Therapy Team Lead (OT / PT) - Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Our client is looking for Therapy Team Lead for their facility in the United Arab Emirates.
Successful candidate will lead rehabilitation service within the allocated facility in Abu Dhabi.Requirements :
Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy from UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, USA or Canada.
MSc or relevant postgraduate degree / diploma. Registered Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with valid professional license from country of origin.
Minimum of 8+ years of recent experience working with patients in long term care hospital, acute care hospital or rehab facilities.
Basic Life Support (BLS).Desired - evidence of progression in advancing leadership / senior roles and responsibilities. Desired - wide background is preferred (i.
e. ICU, acute medical / surgical).Core responsibilities (full job description available upon request) : Leads and directs rehabilitation service provision within the allocated facility in conjunction with the Rehabilitation Team Leader of other client's facilities to ensure consistency.
Responsible for providing and ensuring safe, effective, evidence-based and interdisciplinary therapy (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Dietetics, and Special Education) adult and pediatric services within their professional scopes, in a long-term care and / or post-acute rehabilitation setting.
Is able to communicate effectively at all levels within the interdisciplinary team.Promotes a progressive attitude to the continual improvement of patient care through research, evidence-based practice and the developmental of additional clinical skills in the specialty.
Assists in the safe, effective and efficient management of the department with allocated resources.Promotes good health and well - being through educationUnderstands supports and promotes the mission, vision, and values of the client.
