DUTIES

The Food & Beverage Secretary manages and organizes all administrative tasks in the F&B Department. He or she ensures timely distribution of communication, correspondence and documents within food and beverage division and through out the Hotel maintaining high standard of service and hospitality at all times.

As part of a multi-skilled working environment and must therefore have a comprehensive all-round working knowledge of all outlets and operations of the service department.

The key responsibilities of the position are as follows but not limited to :

  • Organize and maintain up to date filing system in the F&B Department.
  • Responsible for monitoring and controlling the consumption of operating supplies
  • Capable of handling guest complains promptly and professionally.
  • Ensures timely distribution of information to all Department concern.
  • Prepares other reports required from Food and beverage department and Sales.
  • Operates all computer systems in accordance with the correct operating standards
  • Orders all stationery and organize the office.
  • Deals with enquiries from Reception, Cashiers, Accounts and other departments as necessary in a professional manner.
  • He / she is employed by the Food and Beverage Division and as such may be assigned to any area that the Management seems suitable and necessary
  • Must be attentive and willing to perform duties assigned by the Service Leader
  • Follow maintains program and cleaning schedule
  • Legibly document maintenance needs on work orders and submit to manager
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organisation of all service areas
  • Maintain positive guest relations
  • Be familiar with all hotel services / features and local attractions / activities to respond accurately to any guest inquiry.
  • REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 1 years experience in a similar position in a 5* hotel
  • Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written). Fluency in any other langauage is preferable
  • Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
  • A warm personality, attentive and presentable
  • Accountable and resilient
  • Familiar with Micros system & Microsoft Office
  • Has the ability to work under pressure
