Job Description
Leading the Distributed Generation business for Multinational, and large local groups, including but not limited to marketing, business development, and sales
Identify trends and gather market intelligence to improve the hub's strategy
Define, develop and deliver short and long-term commercial strategies to address key market opportunities
Demonstrate leadership courage to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical / high value responsibilities
Develop and implement an effective channel management plan to ensure Total Solar is being recommended and introduced to strategic opportunities
Identify and target strategic clients and projects, establish long-term & trustful relationships with customers.
Develop a deep understanding of the customer activity, structure and nurture their stakeholder needs by proposing a high value proposition
Manage the tender process from prequalification to tender response
Negotiate the solar lease agreement with the client
Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant departments (technical & project teams, credit, compliance and accounting teams)
Manage the day to day activity of sales.

Candidate profile
A strong candidate will have experience :
5+ years of experience in the solar industry in similar roles; Experience in solar or related industry is key as this position is expected to lead his / her assigned sales portfolio independently using their market knowledge and network
Analyzing the market to identify potential key customers in line with Total's ambition.
Identifying effective ways to connect directly with customers at the senior management (C-level).
Building long-term relationships and structuring pricing proposals.
Coordinating with technical teams internally and externally.
Negotiating high-value contracts with C-level executives
While it would be helpful for a candidate to have experience in Solar, we recognize that the solar rooftop market is nascent and therefore we are considering candidates with experience in adjacent sectors.
It is important for candidates to have experience engaging with C-level and closing major contracts.
8+ years of sales experience positioning sales, sophisticated solutions and cost-benefit analyses
Excellent communication skills and good technical knowledge, coupled with a dynamic approach to sales.
