As the Account Director you will lead the client servicing and digital communications delivery team across a portfolio of FMCG Automotive and Retail brands You will be responsible for building a strategic understanding of clients business guiding development of strategy and inspiring the team to produce phenomenal work that meets clients needs You will also lead the management of resources needed to service projects build strategic operational plans and balance the expectations of clients with the execution of creative work DESCRIPTION Partner with internal agency teams to craft innovative ways to impact business results for the clients while ensuring that the plans are strategically sound imaginative Play a leadership role in helping clients solve marketing communication challenges whilst dedicatedly identifying new opportunities to maximize client value Identify and drive new opportunities including new business pitches for the agency Deeply understand brand insights customer segmentation and target needs to steer actionable creative briefs Thus leading to effective digital campaign conceptualization and presentation Ensure profitable allocation of teams while handling reporting and hourly reconciliations Build strong impenetrable relationships with the clients while taking sincere interest in their business issues industry and competitors Work towards indepth understanding of the clients business issues and use the insights to help clients articulate their needs For example in the form of briefs internal briefings Command the room communicate effectively and credibly in senior client executive meetings Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients Lead mentor and inspire the account managers and executives reporting to you guiding their development and career path through the agency by providing inspiring team training and thoughtful input on their career roadmaps Recruit talent that raises the bar on creativity and quality Allocates resources effectively balancing client needs with profitability Coordinate with suppliers and agency departments to meet deadlines implement bestpractices while being aligned with client expectations Meet with client atleast once a month to align on overall strategy present work done insights research that can help the brand achieve digital marketing success Lead the creation of social media content and reporting for your portfolio to ensure that nothing leaves the agency without your assurance the work is outstanding and will exceed client expectations Provides astute input on first round of creative on campaigns and helps sell creative work on major campaigns Own the financial health of account s including growth profitability and delivery of forecasts while understanding contractual relationships and monitoring contract compliance
