To develop high standard of evidenced based, individualized care for patients living with Diabetes Mellitus. Works in conjunction with the Endocrinologist (Adult & Pediatric), involved with the direct care of patients with Diabetes.

Acts as a resource and advisor regarding nursing issues relates to Diabetes care. Provides a research-based education and guidance to the nurses, other health care professionals, patients and their families.
