What will you be doing?

As Project Manager you will be part of one of CSM Middle East’s most prestigious projects working with Abu Dhabi Sports Council and other key Abu Dhabi stakeholders to create and deliver long term behaviour change program to get the population of the emirate active and to lead a more holistic healthy and active lifestyle.

In the words of the Abu Dhabi Sports Council General Secretary this is the most important project for his organisation for

the next 3-5 years .

The role will include, but not be limited to :

Input to the strategic planning phase

Responsibilities include management of the implementation phase

  • Partner agency management
  • Financial management and reporting
  • Team member management
  • Internal stakeholder management
  • External stakeholder management - Management of partnerships and relationships with client, governments,
  • rights holders and sponsorship stakeholders

  • Project management of specific workstreams including overseeing new events and experiences but with
  • internal or external delivery partners

  • Contribute to internal planning (brainstorms and ideas development)
  • Ensuring plans and implementation are of world class standard and aligned with overall strategy.
  • Development of project timelines, monthly budgets, personnel and client reporting
  • Day to day management of KPI setting and evaluation with the client
  • Run regular project and status updates with key client contact

    The Skills and Experience you will need

  • 4-6 years’ experience in Project and Program Management (sports and / or behaviour change programs preferable)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong experience in account management and strategic events planning
  • Significant client-facing experience within UAE public sector (ideally)
  • Ability and confidence to guide clients
  • Proven team management, development and leadership skills
  • Proven ability to prioritise and delegate
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Power Point, Word and cloud sharing programs
  • Fluent in English, written and spoken, Arabic preferable
  • Willingness to work in Abu Dhabi
  • Program Management

  • Program planning, execution and task management
  • Administrative, upkeep and event updates and scheduling
  • Coordinate function orders and logistics
  • Developing client program proposals and program design
  • Facilities management, audio visual, room layouts and design
  • Production, staging and on-site execution
  • Vendor sourcing and management
  • Contracting, negotiations, and compliance
  • Risk assessment and management (emergency planning)
  • Event budgeting and financials
  • Evaluations, reporting and analysis

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to keep track of all deliverables and deadlines, keep track of all ongoing projects, complete status reports
  • Quality control ensuring standards of service are consistent and of an expected quality
  • Strong line management to ensure clear lines of communication with Event Executive, oversee their PDP and
  • KPIs, and offer mentoring and guidance to junior members
  • Assist with research, concept development and costing for new business concepts and ideas
  • Contribute to wider agency New Business
  • Active participant in Agency Team events and activity
