POSITION : Marketing Strategic Planning Lead

REPORTS TO : Regional Marketing Director
Main Purpose of Job
Develop regional strategy and priorities for Margin Expansion by working with the Regional and Local Marketing Teams to create the Margin Expansion pipeline and develop plans against key global / regional opportunities.
Including vendor harmonization, working / non-working Product Fixed Marketing Expenses (PFME) ratio and new projects that will be identified.
Lead strategic planning for Marketing Long Term Plans (LTP) and Global Business (GB) with all key stakeholders
Define each year with Regional VP, Regional Finance Director and Regional Marketing Director, the flow of strategic meeting for Asia, Middle East & Africa (AMA) Region.
Coordinate and plan both processes (LTP) and specific requirements with key stakeholders
Engage with Regional Marketing Team to establish the key priorities for the Region regarding Marketing projects.
Support Regional Marketing Team in the (Product Fixed Marketing Expenses) PFME budget process, from defining targets to track and ensure budget will be respected each year.
Set Regional Margin Expansion strategy, including clarifying roles and responsibilities
Champion Margin Expansion mindset across region and develop Regional Margin Expansion best practices sharing capabilities
Lead regionally scales Margin Expansion projects
Track and measure progress on closing Margin Expansion gap
Create and prioritize Regional Margin Expansion pipeline and projects
Bachelor / Master degree with specialization in Marketing
8 years of experience in Marketing or equivalent role
Strong project management skills
Strong financial and marketing experience
Demonstrates strong strategic mindset
Previous experience in the breakfast cereal category is an advantage
A track record of working in multi-disciplinary teams across multiple countries
Understanding of margin expansion foundation (value creation, cost avoidance, waste reduction)
