Opening Provide inputs to ensure the critical path has encompassed all activities to ensure a brilliant opening Deliver on timelines attached to the critical path and make recommendations on corrective actions when relevant Manage and own all systems and processes to set-

up and manage a best in class revenue and reservations department Work closely with Director of Sales and Marketing to set and manage the rates pricing strategy to maximise business on the books Recruit the best people to join the revenue and reservations team Planning and Budgeting Play a key role in preparing segment and revenue data based on trends to inform budget planning and revenue targets Responsible for the achievement of revenue and reservation goals and financial objectives which are critical for achieving and exceeding the hotel budget Actively manage evaluation systems related to these goals and objectives and report progress to General Manager Develop short and long-

term plans and budgets for the revenue and reservation department monitor progress assure adherence and evaluate performance Develop implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the revenue and reservation functionKeep informed and interpret developments in the field of sales for all revenue earning function products and support the organization to operate with creativity and innovation General Develop and manage strategies to achieve top line revenue goals and ensure revenue index gains in conjunction based on STR report targets and competitor set Identify and action steps to improve REVPAR performance and enhance ADRReview recommend and implement room and other revenue strategies in order to achieve budgeted revenue and maximize market share Ensures proper mix of business through the use of market data historical information inventory controls and pricing strategies Work closely with sales and marketing to create sound strategies that drive the revenue outcome of the hotel Achieve optimal mix of customers and manage the distribution strategies on all channels to drive market share Communicate revenue management strategic vision to leadership team at the hotel and to Vice President -

Market Strategy Achieve Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing Effectively manage inventory and pricing strategy in all distribution channels Monitor competition data conduct regular price checks with competitors measure results and share learning Review and analyze STR data with relevant stakeholders on a daily weekly basis Analyze and monitor effectiveness of promotions and packages Jointly agree sign off on pricing rate changes with Director of sales and marketing and keep General Manager informed of same Organizational strategy Work effectively and openly with senior colleagues of all departments to develop and foster the brand culture and style Ensure that Viceroy s brand philosophy mission and vision are pertinent and practiced across the hotels stakeholders Maintain a climate that attracts retains and motivates top quality colleagues Recruit train appraise supervise support develop promote and guide colleagues You bring along a minimum of five years experience at senior leadership level as a Director of Revenue or similar working for international 5 star luxury hotels You have are A graduate ideally from the Hospitality Management environment A strong people and team focus and an extraordinary ability to lead and develop a high performing team Worked in at least two different continents and ideally gained previous experience in the Middle East GCC UAE Dubai experience will have a distinct advantage Pre-
