As a Site Inspector Track, you will be responsible for providing construction supervision services of the track aspects of the project to ensure that the design documentation is safely and accurately implemented on site, and that the requirements of the construction contract are followed.
You will form part of the Construction Supervision team with a view to ensuring client satisfaction and helping to strengthen the project delivery capabilities.
You will have autonomy over carrying out daily inspections of the implementation of track alignment, track and turnout installations, construction works, rail welding and installation of track works, in regards to relevant maintenance and operation rules, procedures and instructions (specifications, quality standards, quantity measurements, train safety, construction methodology and risk control.
You will be inspecting and reporting on the selection of track materials and reviewing track implementation methods as well as works and signing off the relevant part of the contractor’s RFI’s, observations and non-conformances or poor workmanship with the Engineers / RE and any safety issues with the Safety officer and / or safety engineer.
Your key objective is to always to act with professional, communicate effectively with site teams and motivate them to meet the project objectives.
As a successful candidate you will a BSc or diploma in Civil Engineering from an internationally recognized and accredited university with experience major main line track / rail projects that are complex in nature.
You must have experience in track alignment and installation. You must be able to demonstrate an ability to improve the safety performance of site operations in UAE, rail experience is mandatory.
