What will I be doing?
As a Government Relations Supervisor for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :
Leading the process of all visas applications, visas cancellations and Emirates IDs and interact directly with the DIFC government services for any related matters.
Scheduling of medical examinations and appointments for visa and Emirates ID applications and renewals.
Ensure that all hotel permits and licenses are obtained and in line with the legal and governments' requirements.
Keeping track of the renewal of all hotel permits, licenses and certifications.
Managing the government relation department’s budget and expenses.
Keeping records of passports and visa expiry dates and ensure continued validity for all team member related documents.
Maintaining good relations and conduct regular visits to the DIFC government services, labour office, health department, ministry of information, traffic police and other related government departments and entities.
Providing assistance on police and court cases, immigration and labour affairs and other related matters.
Ensure that all food handlers are having valid occupational health cards by being responsible for renewals and scheduling of relevant medical appointments.
Maintaining and updating all required reports in the system.
Assisting with other government relation tasks and resolve team members’ and management queries.
Supporting the Human Resources department and team member engagement activities by executing other assigned tasks.

Previous experience of supervising government relation responsibilities.
High level of computer skills proficiency.
Fluent in writing and speaking Arabic.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work on own and in teams.

Committed to delivering a high level of customer service.
Ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to respond to a variety of work situations.
Excellent grooming standards both physically and communicatively.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :
Knowledge of the DIFC laws and regulations.
Luxury hospitality experience in a similar role.
