Job Role : Research DevelopmentDirector
We are currently looking to hire aR&D Director in Abu Dhabi.
The idealcandidate will be responsible for all product development activityacross the company from Research & Development Program, newproduct proposal to commercialization, drive accountability,consistency, quality, and process standardization across all phasesof research and development in accordance with company'
sobjectives. The candidate will develop and monitor research plansand budgets for R&D projects, ensuring projects arecompleted on time and within cost objectives.
Responsible forresearch, planning, and implementing new programs and protocols inthe organization and overseeing the development of newproducts.
Keep track of all the costs relatedto the creation of new products and decide what ideas are worthpursuing and make sure that the company is up-to-date with the mostadvanced R&D development.
Responsiblefor overseeing the end to end product development from the initialplanning phase to implementation or production.
Meet with clients and analyze other sources of feedbackand data to identify product failures and product components orattributes that needs improvement.
Assess anddevelop gap analysis on the current quality and R&Dpractices.
Develop strategy and road map forhygiene, food safety, food quality and InnovationR&D.
Optimized current manufacturingproduction flaws and issues.
Conduct review& analysis of all raw material, recipes and existingformulation for cost analysis, supervising quality of product andproduction process, and administering the right quality is producedin production hall.
Ensure that allingredients used in the formulation and recipes are as per localrules & regulations, and also the processes are compliedwith ISO, HACCP and other quality requirements.
Communicate research findings to the management alongwith accompanying changes to the operation.
Manages research and development resources and processesto meet the organizational needs of the business, including bothenhancement and maintenance of existing products as well as thedevelopment and deployment of new solutions.
Analyze and interpret competitor’s activities,industry and consumer trends and food technology advancements toconceptualize and develop products and platforms which enhance thecompany’s operating efficiencies andprofitability.
Ensure full compliance to allrelevant Occupational Health, Safety and environment standards andpolicies within the organization to promote a safe workingenvironment for all employees & others
Should follow all the quality and food safety standardsand policies implemented time to time by the company
Bachelor’s or Master’sDegree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry orEquivalent
10 - 15 experiences in similarrole
Experience with Dairy productis mandatory
