We are seeking an experienced program manager that will define, execute, and report on the certification go-to-market strategy in EMEA.

Your responsibility will start by understanding the various segment needs for certification, working alongside AWS Global teams including T&C certification, AWS T&C Marketing and AWS Field Teams to work backwards from our customer needs.

You will utilize collaboration skills in this role to manage and ensure all stakeholders are working together to achieve customer desired outcomes.

This will be achieved by providing enablement to internal teams, including Business Development Managers, Partner Enablement Managers, Authorized Training Partner Managers, and more.

This role also requires ownership, autonomy, and an ability to deliver results. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, strength in program managing high-impact customer programs, and prioritization skills.

Key job responsibilities

  • Responsible for the definition and execution of the B2B, B2I, and internal AWS certification EMEA strategy.
  • Ownership of all certification EMEA performance metrics, including students certified and certification revenue.
  • Manage internal stakeholder needs within T&C, and maintain mechanisms that keep Leadership informed
  • Dive deep in the current market data to identify trends and prioritize AWS efforts to deliver results
  • Assist with managing certification partners and bridging the gap with T&C sellers.
  • Work closely with Business Development and Partner teams to enable them to have effective customer conversations around the certification journey.
  • Drive and manage rollout and changes to programs, including requirements gathering, testing, and communications planning.
  • Act as lead while partnering with stakeholders.

  • Work closely with Finance, Tax, Legal, Operations, Vendors and Management teams to deliver initiatives and projects
  • Act as EMEA single point of contact for certifications. Ensure alignment and implementation of global programs, systems, tools and mechanisms that meet the needs of the region.
  • Identify areas of risk to the project scope or timeline, and escalate to program leadership in a timely manner.
  • Continuously look for opportunities to streamline, automate and improve the current programs and processes.
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-7+ years of technology related program management and / or business development experience, rolling out strategic initiatives, process improvement and / or new products
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent field experience in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Deep understanding of the Enterprise / Professional IT learning & certification market
  • Excellent business writing skills and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and at least one Business Intelligence tool (Tableau, OBIEE, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Experience creating and improving operational processes across teams / stakeholders and external vendors
  • Sales enablement experience in a similar function / industry
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Project Management certification
  • Experience selling cloud technologies and / or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification
  • 3+ years relevant work experience in in education, training, or certification operations program management
