Purpose of the job :
1.Develop Brand Strategy and be the custodian of brand consistency across touch points
2.Develop systematic advertisement strategy to build positive PR in alignment to the Integrated Marketing Communication and paid media (buying) strategy
3.Increase the company's product and brand awareness via media exposure and manage their reputation
4.Deals with Global HQ, RHQ and local Public Affairs and (crises) communication to manage public opinion
Role and Responsibilities
Drive One Samsung’ approach through cross category integrated marketing and promotional campaigns
Lead and drive Digital transformation of PR and Media functions according to changing consumer behavior and preference
Supervise and manage part members to deliver quality execution and to increase reach and visibility in our GCC markets
Engages directly with division teams in order to understand their needs and assess marketing campaign plans
Supports with (creative) proposals to improve communication impact via organic and paid media channels
Develop company PR strategy in line with product's advertisement message and strategy
Plan and co-ordinate PR content production for external release (press release, media kit, interview, keynote speech, advertising articles, etc.
and plan and host the accompanied events (press conference, company event, etc.).
Manage stakeholders and plan and drive programs for maintaining amicable relationships with various stakeholders (media, analyst, tech influencer, etc.) to build positive PR
Monitor and distribute media news on key articles and public opinion regarding the company's or products (product lines)
Manage Risks and when issues arise, produce and effectively deliver public statements
Part-lead role supervises mentoring and coaching for team members, manage external agencies and functional budget spending
Skills and Qualifications
Experience & Qualifications
Has deep knowledge on one job area or broad knowledge on several job areas
Strong networking and influencing skills to manage executive level and government contacts
Result-driven, strong affinity with KPI setting and authority to drive target achievements across departments
Improves methods or procedures and provides coaching to team members to ensure successful outcome
Co-operate with HR for e.g. recruiting, capability development, performance management and / or dismissal
English and Arabic speaking is pre-requisite
Business experience in the SGE markets is a plus
Typically requires at least 10 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years and a Master's degree.
