Role Description

Accenture Digital partners with our largest clients to define andenable digital transformation. As a Resources Sales Lead forMidstream / downstream you will have accountability to drive sales within the Digitalpractice for clients in the MENA Region.

As part of your role engaging with our clientsyou will act as the digital value architect for our most transformativeopportunities, enabling an end-

to-end digital journey by leveraging the datawithin the client environment and bringing the best of Accenture Digital to ourclients.

You will also be responsible for building a practice and forunderstanding Oil & Gas industry’s biggest challenges and tailoringindustry relevant offerings to meet client needs.


  • SalesOrigination & Business Development
  • Accountabilityfor driving the Digital Business targets as determined by the practice
  • PositionAccenture as the lead partner for Digital Transformation with our clients
  • Identify newbusiness opportunities relating to Digital Transformation & Analytics areas
  • Act as an SMEand advisor to our customers
  • Lead thedevelopment of businesses cases for further project sales as determined by thepractice
  • Facilitate thedevelopment of request for proposals responses and contract development
  • Drive theclient stakeholder engagement plan to scope the overarching opportunity
  • Work closelywith leadership to set strategy and define success criteria for any project
  • Drive theintegrated value proposition and work with the client to gain alignment andbuy-in
  • Apply Accenturestandard methods for performing strategy assessments and implementations
  • Identify andhelp bring into the practice talented individuals both internally andexternally
  • Leverage thebest from Accenture to architect the solution and shape the commercialproposition
  • Practice &Offering Management
  • Define andarticulate how best to tailor digital offerings to meet market demand in theMENA Region.
  • Play an activerole building a practice including capability development and recruiting
  • Required Skills :

    Experiencemanaging a sales target

    Deep domainexpertise in Downstream (Process Optimization)

    DeepUnderstanding of Asset Performance Management and Reliability


    Understandingof latest Digital Technologies

    Understandingof how to link digital proposition with business value to shape the businesscase

    Ability to originate sales and develop commercial constructs

    Understanding of how enterprises should have a top-down approach to addresstheir business problems

    Knowledge of Oil & Gas software technologies and their applications

    Knowledge ofOil & Gas Data landscape

    Ability to partner with our clients to understand business problems andstrategies

    Ability to translate business issues into specific requirements to develop digitalsolutions

    ClientDelivery & Relationship Management

    Ability tointeract with and influence Managers and above

    Able to explain complex concepts in non-technical language

    Strong story-telling ability

    YOUR EXPERIENCE : Basic Qualifications :

    Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Petroleum, Process, Chemical, Mechanical)

  • Minimum of 10years of in Oil and Gas Downstream plant operations
  • Minimum 5years in business development / technical consulting role
  • Meet travelrequirements, up to 70%
  • SET YOURSELFAPART : Preferred Skills :

  • Bachelor’sdegree in digital discipline (Computer Science, Programming, IT, or similar)
  • International+ MENA experience
  • Understandingof value-based constructs
  • Exceptionalpresentation skills ability to convey technology and business valuepropositions
  • Ability tounderstand digital technologies and apply them to Oil & Gas context, and generateoutputs to create client value in a business context
  • Experiencewith evolving approaches and digital technologies such as Mobility, IOT, BigData, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning
  • SolutionArchitecture experience using enterprise framework a plus
  • Proven abilityto build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
  • Proven abilityto work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Desire to workin an information systems environment
  • Excellentcommunication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, ability to networkwith large groups of people
  • Excellentleadership skills
  • Attention todetails, ability to carry out work independently
