Primary Objectives / Responsibilities
Supports adherence to accepted engineering and design practices, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates.
Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.
Uses local / global standards to support technical excellence.
Supports checking, peer reviews, and incorporation of comments and findings.
Deliver electrical discipline specific design and drafting services that meet Worley, the client’s and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
Apply recognized offshore / onshore engineering practices applicable to electrical design engineering.
Job Specific Knowledge :
Ability to co-ordinate with inter-disciplinary team within the location and workshare location
Ability to visualise and design independently the substation layouts, cable tray layouts, outdoor cable routing layouts
Developing technical and practical design and drafting skills in the electrical discipline.
Competent in the use of relevant software and developing skills in design software.
Experience in preparing electrical drawings in AutoCAD, like Single Line Diagrams, Schemes, Cable route planning with underground direct buried / ductbanks and above ground with cable trays, interfacing with other disciplines for cable corridors and providing clash free design, substation layout, installation typical, supporting the engineers in bill of quantities estimates
Proficient in AutoCAD
Proficient in Microstation
Experience in Electrical and Instrument & Control projects design experience on SLD, Layouts, Block Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Bulk Material, Lighting Design, 3D model development, SPI / SPEL / AVEVA data management, etc.
Experience in MCT sizing, Lighting calculation software, etc.
Good knowledge of ADNOC Design Office practices
Good Communication skill and works as part of team.
Industry Specific Experience :
Minimum 8 years project experience in the design and drafting in electrical and Instrument discipline, estimates
