PR Account Director (social media) - Global PR Agency

Seeking an Account Director to work across both owned and earned social media platforms. You will be focusing on specific projects and will be required to lead them from start to completion.

This role requires strong account and project management skills, experience working across results-driven, global social media projects and a strong understanding of integrated marketing communications principles and the role of social media within those.

You would be skilled at interacting with clients, evaluating client requirements and developing a comprehensive social strategy built upon strong research and insight, social content creation, incorporating social media outreach, search visibility, effective and innovative engagement solutions, and measurable outcomes.

You are an active and engaged social media user with solid experience developing social solutions for clients. You will have a proven record in managing complex programmes and delivering results for global brands by leveraging social media and word of mouth, creating and executing strategy and understanding research.

Responsibilities

Be responsible for the successful development and delivery of global and local social media projects for a major automotive brand from the strategy and creative stage through to implementation and measurement.

Have strong project management experience and the ability to use project management tools.

Lead projects by working alongside our internal team (social analysts, creative & content strategists and senior account leadership), manage relationship with external agencies (creative, media buying, content production, event planning etc.

and with the multiple stakeholders client-side.

Be responsible for managing all financial aspects of a project : from development of statements of work to delivering on budget.
