What will I be doing?
As Front Office Agent, youwill provide reception services for Guests to contribute to anoverall exceptional experience from check-in through check-out andcomplete audits, as required.
A Receptionist contributes to thefirst impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform thefollowing tasks to the highest standards :
Achieve positiveoutcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficientmanner
Ensure an efficient receptionexperience for Guests, including check in / out, and complete auditprocedures, as required
Ensure that both theFront Office Manager and Reception Supervisors are kept fully awareof any relevant feedback from guests and, or, otherdepartments
Demonstrate a high level ofcustomer service at all times
Attendappropriate training courses, when required, and assist with theNight Team's training and development efforts
Demonstrate a knowledge of hotel room categories, roomrates, packages, promotions and other general product knowledgenecessary to perform daily duties
Maximizeroom occupancy and use up-selling techniques to promote hotelservices and facilities
Use the correctprocedures regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, creditcards and cash in accordance with the hotel creditpolicy
Comply with hotel security, fireregulations and all health and safety legislation
Act in accordance with policies and procedures whenworking with front of house equipment and property managementsystems
Follow company brandstandards
Assist other departments, asnecessary
