SUMMARY
Inspects aircraft andcomponents to ensure product quality in accordance with the requirements of themaintenance manuals, engineering drawings, and other approved data.
ESSENTIALDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide oversight andguidance to the team to review available aircraft records and logbooks toensure accuracy and verify the configuration.
Provide oversight and aquality control review in verifying digital and paper log book reconciliation.
Assist in conducting a100% inventory inspection of each airframe and visual mechanical inspection inorder to compare digital and paper logbooks, excluding any aircraft that aredeployed.
Will createtraining plans for all subordinate employees and ensure training is completedas required.
Evaluate designatedpersonnel and determine if employee has achieved the necessary knowledge andcredentials to perform required tasks independently.
Make recommendations toenhance inspections in the event the aircraft material condition or recordexamination indicates such actions are warranted.
Provide onsite assistanceto enable personnel and / or Chief Maintenance Engineers at each site tounderstand risks, follow-up actions, and opportunities related to the aircraftand systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATIONand / or EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED
FAA Airframe andPowerplant (A&P) License is preferred
FAA InspectionAuthorization (IA) License is preferred
15 Years’ experience in fixedwing aircraft maintenance and quality inspection in the US military or as anA&P / IA
