The Ecosystem Development Manager will be responsible for the development of the ecosystem in Middle East and Africa (MEA), reporting to the Head of Ecosystem Development, EMEA.
The focus is on prospecting, developing potential and existing partnerships, and scaling companies to be successful in building advertising and marketing technology integrations across Facebook APIs.
This position is based in our Dubai office.
Identify and translate market opportunities and challenges into a well-defined strategy that will accelerate the growth of the ecosystem
Project manage new builds through test and launch and determine success frameworks to scale them to the wider Ecosystem
Map the technology ecosystem in MEA to identify upcoming technological trends
Prospect and consult developers to build an innovative partner ecosystem
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to influence partner product development efforts both shorter term feature requests and long-term strategic roadmap
Become a Thought-leader and exhibit executive presence and confidence in presenting Facebook to C-suite executives
Represent the team in events and evangelize the program to the industry and developer partners
Drive product adoption and provide on-going education about new and existing Facebook marketing products, especially those that leverage APIs and other advanced technology
Work with Business Ops to set goals, actively measure impact of initiatives and ensure alignment with broader business teams
6+ years experience in a partner management, product management / marketing, or engineering role. Experience in Advertising is a must with experience on Facebook and Ad Tech a plus.
Entrepreneurial / Start-Up experience is a major plus. We are looking for a builder (companies, products or platforms) with an ability to join the dots on where the industry and the associated players are moving
Strong understanding of how technology works including deep passion for Facebook products and digital marketing
Proven successful written / oral communication skills and relationship building skills
Work effectively and cross-functionally with peers and managers, both internally and externally
Client facing experience working with director level and above executives
Excellent project management and quantitative / analytical skills including the ability to build Go-To-Market plans
Lead and execute multiple time-sensitive projects in parallel
Ability to operate with high degree of autonomy
Willingness to travel internationally frequently
Ability to move fast, be bold, and thrive in a dynamic, quickly-changing environment
Fluent in English and Arabic
