Job descriptionABOUT USThe Arts Club Dubai will be perfectly located in the heart of the DIFC, set over four floors and totalling 65,000 square feet, in the brand new ICD Brookfield Place development designed by Foster + Partners.

It will be the first international outpost of the celebrated and historical private members’ club, established in 1863 in Mayfair, London.

The Club’s brand new membership will form an exciting new community of like-minded, diverse and dynamic people, all hailing from different cultures and sectors, from the region and further afield.

The Arts Club Dubai unveils an amazing opportunity for a talented artisan to join our passionate and creative team.The Assistant Reception and Reservations Manager will be supporting the Reception and Reservation Manager with handling and coordinating all incoming member / s reservations, inquiries and bookings about / for the Club facilities and programming events while providing excellent, warm and friendly service to our members and their guests and ensuring strong member recognition.

He / she will deliver the highest possible standards of service and be pro-active in maintaining and driving revenue and brand image.

He / she will deputize for the Reception and Reservation Manager in his / her absence overseeing the entire operation of the Reception and Reservation Department.

WHAT WILL YOU DOYour main duties and responsibilities are : Ensure the outlets reach or exceeds their potential through constant maximisation of the number of guests Monitor and verify that all the booking and reservations have been confirmed within 24 hours Develop a positive and direct relationship with all members and guests in order to maximise revenue opportunities and support sales Assist with organising large party bookings and pre-orders in liaison with respective departments Facilitate efficient communication across all the relevant parties in a clear, consistent and transparent fashion to maximise members and guests’ experience and deliver high level of professional service Ensure all cancelled / refused / waiting lists are recorded with the reason for cancellation / refusal and that all details are followed up and actioned Maintain close liaison with Finance and the Events Departments to ensure all business is recorded accurately and all rates / volumes quoted are within the planned selling strategy Verify on regular basis that all members and guests’ profiles, histories and marketing databases are maintained and updatedWHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORThe successful candidate will have the following experience and skills : Minimum 3 years’ experience in same or similar role in luxury hotels or fine dining restaurants Excellent level of English, written and spoken Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility Excellent team management, communication and listening skills Have an outgoing and assertive personality Demonstrate integrity in all dealings and maintain high level of confidentiality Ability to work long shifts and stand for the extended period of time Impeccable manners Immaculate personal presentation and well-spokenTHE BENEFITSThe Arts Club Dubai is offering a competitive and attractive remuneration and benefits package.
