Associate Vice President Vendor Management and Procurement Manager QDepartment Description Improve Emirates NBD Group business performance by providing world class strategic sourcing and support services which is aligned to our digital transformation strategyBrief Description This role drives the vendor and procurement management within ENBD IT and typically managing the contract life cycle The role of IT procurement management is combined with IT vendor contract management IT vendor performance management IT vendor relationship management and IT vendor risk managementThe IT vendor and procurement manager is responsible for managing the contract life cycle which includes changes and modifications involving the enforcement of performance clauses including incentives and remedies The IT vendor contract manager will act as the key contact and subject matter expert for all contractrelated and tendering activities The latter includes assisting with negotiating contract terms conditions modifications incentives and remedies while working with key stakeholders to ensure that their requirements are met Additionally this position manages the contract execution process resolving problems mitigating delays assisting with audits mediating disputes and escalating issuesThis position also works under supervision of ENBDs Group procurement department to ensure alignment of the process and policies as defined in the organizationDetailed Description Leads the vendor evaluation selection and negotiation process establishes and maintains contractual and business relationships with the strategic vendors monitors contract compliance solves operational issues with vendorseg quality delivery and service issues and align sourcing strategies based on supplier performance and business unit input On an ongoing basis the Sourcing Manager is responsible for holding supplier reviews and ensuring progress to yearoveryear supplier improvement goalsContinuously revisits strategic vendors to build and maintain a tier systemMaintaining a good relationship with the strategic vendors by engaging with them on a regular basisEnsure strategies are implemented and reductions secured according to implementation plans Contract compliance will be actively monitored by the Sourcing Manager and when required the Sourcing Manager will work with business unit leadership to address noncompliance issuesDevelop implement and monitor business unit satisfaction with key suppliers and the supportresponsiveness of the centre purchasing activity for assigned leverage commoditiesDevelop an expertise in the assigned spend categoriesJob Requirements Lead the process for vendor selection and managementMonitor strategy implementation and contract complianceMonitoring customer satisfaction
