We are Merkle, a global digital marketing company. We are looking for someone interested in becoming a Performance Media expert to join our office in Dubai.

Four years ago, we opened our fantastic office in Dubai which was been so successful we’re expanding. We’re looking for exceptional individuals to join our fast-growing Performance Media team.

We're looking for people who are ambitious, data-driven, and enthusiastic individuals looking to grow their career in Paid Media.

Life as a Performance Media Manager (specializing in Paid Search & Paid Social)

Campaign Planning : Work cross-functionally with clients, media planners, analytics, and agency partners to establish clear campaign strategy, tactics, objectives, and measurement KPIs for our paid social media, YouTube, Display and SEM campaigns.

Contribute to the development of clients’ channel media strategies & tactics, utilizing your knowledge and expertise of channel / platform capabilities

Provide optimal budget forecasting and / or allocation recommendations, with the focus of achieving maximum reach, scale, engagement effectiveness, and performance efficiency

Campaign Execution & Maintenance : Monitor and measure campaign performance in platform, leveraging insights and trends, and provide data backed recommendations to clients and stakeholders

Manage all aspects of the day-to-day management of digital performance campaigns, including campaign creation, performance optimization, reporting, and budget monitoring

Analytics and Reporting : Provide weekly campaign reports for live campaigns in conjunction with the media planning and performance media team members

Support the junior team in all EOC reports, provide deep and thorough insight into the performance of the campaign

Additional Research & Projects : Continued industry growth and knowledge within digital marketing trends and emerging digital marketing channels

Apply research, identify new market trends, develop POVs, and keep the team informed of new opportunities. Contribute to the development and training of your client partners.

Partner Management : Maintain close relationships with core media partners and help identify opportunities for new product test & learns.

People Management : Manage a team of 2 to 5 people from both an account perspective and their overall career growth.

Qualifications : You MUST have :

You MUST have :

Bilingualism : Arabic and English

5+ years of relevant work experience

A proven track record working in performance media, specifically with ecommerce clients

Expertise level and hands-on experience with planning and managing all campaign types across Google Ads (search, shopping, YouTube, GDN), performance and branding campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Snap and Tiktok

Worked in a client facing role within an agency environment

The ability to work well under pressure with short deadlines across multiple teams

The strength to work independently or with minor supervision in a fast pace, multi-project, and process-oriented environment

Experience with site tag management tools (e.g., GTM), Analytics platforms (Google / Adobe), web-trend metrics.

Frequent domestic & international travel may be required

Interview Process

Firstly, we suggest you apply at your earliest convenience (make sure you’ve done your research!) as our roles are always very popular and do fill quickly.

We hire on a first-come basis.

In this position, you will be focusing on Paid Search (PPC) and Paid Social so we will want to see a passion and enthusiasm for this particular area.

This interest can be showcased in your research and ability to go above and beyond when looking into this area.

Application When you apply you will be asked a couple of questions to showcase your interest in PPC and paid social media.

HR Screen If your application is successful, you will be asked to complete short 15 minute call with our HR team or Hiring Manager to check your fit for the role as well as giving you the chance to see if this is the role for you.

Phone Interview - If successful, then you would progress to the phone interview. This is a chance for you to talk to us in person, learn more about the company and showcase your skills, passion, and research.

Final Interview If you reach the final interview, you will be asked to put together a Performance Media Campaign, based off a mock client brief.

Throughout the entire process we will be wanting to learn more about you as an individual (your interests, skills and understanding of the role), your passion for this area and the research you’ve done.

Don’t focus on the nerves, make sure you come prepared and ensure you interview us as well! At the end of the day, you’ll be with us 5 days a week, so you want to make sure its somewhere you want to work to.
