Support in vendor & subcontractor development, qualification audits for gas support system manufacturing & testing process.
Act as the bridge between Procurement and manufacturing process, with collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors & subcontractors.
Participate in project kick off meetings and prepare necessary Quality documentations includes but not limited to QAP, ITP, WPS / PQR, NDT, Hydro & Pneumatic and FAT procedures, for customer approval timely.
Compile and Review, project manufacturing record book and final documentation for accuracy and completeness in line with project requirements for customer submission.
Develop, Track, and control the manufacturing schedule in line with overall project schedule. Report to the management.
Inspection of goods receipt for support systems and raise NCR & follow up to close.
Stagewise Inspection and Witness Test of Support Systems manufactured in-house & JC subcontracted facilities including Factory Acceptance Tests in line with the approved procedures.
Represent as a John Crane QA engineer and liaise with QA team of JC subcontractors and customers / Third party inspectors, to review & sign off the quality documents.
Collaborate with Operations teams in other Support System manufacturing locations within John Crane and learn & share the best practices.
Support Global initiatives.
Record lesson learned, near miss and incidents related to Support Systems and drive actions.
Support internal audits for the Quality Management Systems related to Support Systems within the region.
Ensure project is executed to company’s quality standards and customers’ expectations.
Monitor & Control manufacturing schedules and prepare project activity reports & required project documentation.
Support and Encourage, Safety Culture & Quality Assurance and Operational Excellence within John Crane and our subcontractors & vendors for Gas seal support systems.
Assist the company on special assignments as and when required.
Frequent visits to subcontractor & vendor facilities within the region is required

University Degree in Mechanical / Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronic or similar field
Extensive experience in a similar role.
Experience of working in a multinational and multicultural environment.
Working experience in system (skid / panel) manufacturing facility is preferred.
Read and interpret specifications and Piping & Instrumentation Drawings, General Arrangement Drawings, and Manufacturing Drawings.
Knowledge & Experience in Piping, Welding, Tubing, and manufacturing & testing process and its quality assurance.
Health and Safety supervision of support system (skids / panels) manufacturing & testing process.
Knowledge on ASME standards, Welding Procedures, Radiographic tests, and other piping manufacturing tests. Accomplished certifications in these areas are preferred.
Knowledge & understanding of Electrical & Instrumentations, Pipes & Valves.
Familiar with international standards like API, ISO, ASME, NACE, ISA and other common industrial standards.
Knowledge and experience on ERP systems like SAP.
Product knowledge or ability to learn about John Crane product portfolio & product codes.
Excellent MS Office and project applications background
Languages : English. Speaking in Arabic is an advantage
