Job description / Role
Reports to the General Manager and participates as a member of the Technology Services team. Hotel Overview : Ideally situated on the Arabian Gulf in Ajman, UAE, the Fairmont Ajman has opened May 2015.
The hotel close proximity to both Sharjah and Dubai airports. The hotel features 252 guestrooms and suites, including two luxurious penthouse offerings, a multitude of dining options and fitness facilities.
The beachfront location offers guests a wide range of leisure activities including water sports and diving as well as access to shopping and cultural excursions.
Event planners can take advantage of 2,000 square meters of indoor function space as well as outdoor facilities.
Summary of Responsibilities :
Identifying infrastructure needs, current trends and designing / creating proof of concepts on solutions to align with the functional strategy.
Manage business process that is related to architecting Infrastructure and support team activities and availability within the site, so that team members work in the most optimum way.
Manage all departmental information technology projects and work with IT Managers on goal attainment.
Collaborate with senior management team to ensure the successful roll out of key project initiatives.
Plan and manage capital budget and expenditure allocation.
Work closely with hotel owners on new hotel projects and to provide advice and guideline to them on all the related system, network infrastructure and application solution.
Plan and evaluate IT system and infrastructure enhancement requirement to meet business objectives and needs.
Responsible for managing the IT operations for all hotels
Propose, design and implement new application and interfaces to enhance operation and business workflows to support the needs of business units.
Lead and provide guidance to all IT managers to manage infrastructure system to ensure that the systems perform optimally to support the hotels operation.
To manage networks and application hosted on all properties
Implemented and carry out audit to make sure that the hotels follow corporate system standard and brand guideline for all IT system.
Liaising with vendors when required
Support & Maintenance of I.T. infrastructure including telecommunication.
Position also include high level supervision on day to day operations in the hotels under the respective area and implementation, upgrades and enhancements of brand standards, various new technologies, systems and projects and in new and existing hotels.

Microsoft Certification & Cisco Certification
Degree in information technology
Strong Base in Network Technologies
Hotel Applications Micros Point Of Sale and Oracle PMS
Proficient in Windows 2008, 2012 Server & Network Environment
Excellent organizational, follow-through, and communication skills
