Job Role : Assistant Vice President- Internal Audit
Our client, a leadinginvestment group, spread across the Middle East, Africa, and Europeis looking for an Assistant Vice President, Internal Audit.
As anAVP, Internal Audit, the incumbent will be responsible forplanning, conducting, and reporting on risk-based financial,operational and compliance audits of all business units and supportfunctions.
Plan and conduct substantive audits of balances andtransactions, including investment deals, to assess thecompleteness and accuracy of group'
s accounting records andthe fair presentation of its results.
Plan andconduct compliance audits which test the adequacy and effectivenessof the bank's policies, procedures and internal controlsystems.
Evaluate audit findings and identifyand report on any actual or potential internal controlweaknesses.
Prepare and maintain neat andclearly referenced files of audit working papers.
Bachelor degree in a numerate discipline
A relevant professional qualification ispreferred.
Ability to find, analyze andinterpret complex information.
Knowledge ofbanking, management and accounting practices.
