PORTWEST, a leading global manufacturer of safety wear, workwear and PPE is currently seeking applications for the position of Internal Sales Representative - Sharjah.

We design, manufacture and distribute market leading workwear, safety wear and PPE in fully owned production facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Internal Sales Representative for Portwest, you will be based in our Sharjah offices and you will bring your commercial experience to sell Portwest products to distributors across the Middle East.
You will open new and develop existing distribution channels in the GCC regions in this fast-paced internal sales position.
The ideal candidate will be hungry and driven to identify new business opportunities and develop new business through these channels.
You should be able to work independently but also collaborate with the sales team and Regional Sales Manager to continue to build upon the company’s success in the region.
Among your key responsibilities will include :
Developing and managing new and low spend accounts
Identifying new opportunities to deepen customer relations and develop existing accounts.
Sourcing new customers and distributors
Providing relevant and accurate information to customers
Helping maintain customer loyalty to Portwest
Providing pricing and quotes
Offer new and existing products, completing visit reports.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
To become an Internal Sales Representative for Sharjah, you will need to have the following :
Good communication skills and be able to work well to deadlines
A strong desire to develop new business opportunities
Experience in Customer Service and / or a sales role
PPE / Workwear industry knowledge or similar is a must
Experience in identifying new business opportunities and developing new customers
Experience in sourcing new customers and / or distributors
Good decision-making skills and be customer focused
PC Literate
