WHAT’S YOUR NEW ROLE ABOUT?
This exciting role within the MENA sales division is a great opportunity for a hungry and enthusiastic Senior Sales / Sales Manager wanting to develop both their digital sales and marketing experience in a dynamic sports media environment.
The ideal candidate should be a Sales Manager, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the digital media sector, within MENA.
The focus will be on interfacing with GCC digital media agencies and direct clients working across a designated patch. You will be pitching and selling across brands such as Goal and Cricbuzz as well as supporting Sales Director on big ticket pitches across the entire business.
This role would suit a very well organised, outgoing individual with a media sales, agency facing background familiar with the UAE / GCC media market place.
HERE’S YOUR ROLE BROKEN DOWN (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)
Identify, develop and maintain relationships with key digital advertising networks and agencies in MENA to drive advertising sales and revenue
Proactively seeking and responding to incoming client briefs, developing strategic ideas, creds decks, proposals and liaising with media agencies and direct clients on a daily basis via email, phone and face to face meetings
Identifying and developing new revenue opportunities such as mobile packages, sports packages around key calendar events, programmatic PMP deals, programmatic guaranteed deals. etc
Weekly forecasting and pipeline management
Optimisation of campaign delivery working closely with the MENA Ad Ops team to manage this process
Mentoring your AM and working closely with him across your patch
Support with marketing collateral and events when required for wider team
Constantly striving to improve operational effectiveness across the MENA sales team
Ensure all digital advertising sales targets and KPI’s in MENA are constantly met and exceeded
Annual / monthly objective and target setting Performance Development Review
Client retention and development including servicing
New business generated from designated agency / client patch
Forecasting and pipeline
DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?
Experience in digital media sales environment 3 years or less (Manager) / +5 years (Senior Sales Manager)
Proven success driving revenue and achieving digital advertising sales targets
Demonstrated successful history of establishing and maintaining accounts and selling partnership ideas and branded content concepts
Demonstrates sound judgment and strong analytical skills, understanding of ad tech an advantage
Good understanding of online media and its pricing models. E.g. CPM, CPC, CPV, tenancy, programmatic landscape
General understanding of international and MENA media market place
Excellent communication skills, personable and confident
Passionate about sport & digital media
Creative, open minded and able to think outside the box’
Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision without compromising work performance
Capable of performing under pressure and delivering to stringent deadlines
Customer service focused, extremely professional, dynamic and enthusiastic
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise own activity and the activity of others to meet deadlines
Fluent in English, both written and spoken (Arabic would be an advantage)
Technical Skills Advanced skills pertaining to Microsoft Office suite of programs, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
Some international travel may be expected for business purposes
