A senior project management role responsible of fully designing and delivering complex communication projects assigned to the agency.
With our set up we need an energetic, hungry and experienced talent that can lead the charge from the front, someone with strong opinions founded in data and communication and production experience who is willing to stand their ground even when flying solo.
As a fully integrated unit this person will be working hand in hand & literally sitting side by side with all communication functions from planning, creative, media to data and PR.
Harnessing these other practice experts will be key to drive an integrated approach that is fueled by data.
1. Integration : working in a fully integrated set-up, the communication supervisor makes sure that every decision taken takes into consideration the different practices of Studio M and is able to formulate integrated recommendations to the client;
2. Production : The communication supervisor also needs to have the expertise & skillsets to guide the production process be it for a big production films to a static visual production ensuring quality control and that objectives set in the production briefs are being met;
3. Region Expertise : Having lived in the GCC or worked on local or regional clients, the communication supervisor is knowledgeable of the demographical, cultural, economical and political changes in the GCC (especially cultural differences and sensitivities).
Fluency in Arabic be it verbal, spoken or written is also key in understanding the region we operate in;
4. Stakeholder Management : The supervisor needs to build a strong connection with the marketers on a regional level and in the 7 GCC markets without of course mentioning again the importance of working closely with the remaining 6 disciplines in Studio M (data, planning, media, digital, creative and PR) and guiding the network LB offices.
Overview and Responsibilities :
Master the brand purpose, tone of voice, communication pillars as well as visual guidelines
Support in the development of rich and clear client briefs that can inspire the creative team
Develop aggressive and efficient project CPS to ensure delivery of projects against their target dates and ensure these CPSs are followed
Review the work developed internally ahead of client and market presentation from a brand lens
Lead the development of rich quality marketing toolkits and proposals while aligning key internal and external stakeholders
Supervise the production of content and ensure it meets agency quality and client expectations / requirements
Audit and report the implementation of markets of regional toolkit and influence / inspire where possible given market oversight
Build relations with internal and external stakeholders that will influence the delivery of assigned projects
Key Requirements :
Experience : 5 years+ experience in an integrated agency model or a traditional agency servicing tier 1 advertisers / brands;
Hybrid : Ability to understand different facets of communications especially media and digital;
Time Management : Ease with managing a portfolio of large scale projects and oversee different divisions of the business and operate in an agile approach when needed;
Motivation : A self-motivated solution oriented determined individual, hungry and curious to learn but also to achieve tangible results and unriddle problems that come his / her way;
Process : A process oriented mindset which includes proactively creating new processes where gaps are identified or following best practice successful processes;
