Job Purpose : Support the Senior Relationship Manager & Relationship Managers to grow a portfolio of profitable customers in defined geographical markets in pursuit of specific sales, service, growth and opportunity targets.
Duties and Responsibilities Profit & Financial
Preparing credit applications for new clients' .Extract and analyze financial statements, cash flow forecasts and other complex financial reports, providing accurate assessments.
Develop relationships with intermediaries including Solicitors and Accountants, ensuring all referrals are generated properly.
Generate business opportunities for sales specialists for Bank using the agreed sales process.
Assist the Head of business or Relationship Managers with miscellaneous administration of the client portfolio ensuring all documentation and customer files are maintained in accordance with Bank's policies and procedures.
Customer / Service
Manage and Assist the Senior Relationship Manager or Relationship Manager to manage the Bank's relationship with customers within their assigned portfolio tier
Attend to client queries, ensuring all queries are responded to in a timely and professional manner and in keeping with established service standards.
Support improvement of the relevant customer service / customer satisfaction outcomes for the portfolios.
Proactive identification of client needs and the maintaining of customer files and miscellaneous records compliant with Bank policies and procedures and those of industry legislation.
Attending conferences' and business events.
Ability to identify an acceptable level of lending risk, in line with Bank's risk appetite statement, and to maximize profit from that transaction.
Support and demonstrate a risk management culture in line with Bank's values.
Proactive identification and escalation of risks and issues related to your role responsibilities & captured as a service request in Ignite.
Adherence to the Bank's complaint resolution process to resolve the matter, maintain our high service standards and mitigate further risks / losses.
Ensure a safe environment that allows all staff across the Bank the ability to escalate and discuss issues and risks with their Leader.
Accountable for maintaining high data quality standards by ensuring information captured in the Bank's systems and documentation are correct and maintained in a timely manner.
Ability to analyze complex financial statements and assist with preparation of detailed credit submissions, including identification of key risks and mitigants.
3 years relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Economics, Finance, Accounting
Professional certification such as the CFA is preferred
