One of the UKs leading IT Apprenticeship Training providers are currently recruiting for a Head of Funding and Compliance, the role is fully remote and home based.

The role will be to maintain and update compliance processes and policies in line with Department for Education and ESFA funding rules and audit requirements.
The role :
Ensure monthly ILR returns are timely, accurate and compliant across our Apprenticeship delivery
Ensure returns to the Department for Education on Skills Bootcamp provision are accurate and timely
Ensuring that robust controls and procedures are developed and maintained in line with audit requirements from funding agencies
Seek efficiencies whilst retaining assurance across Learner Services and Operations teams
Maintain and develop our current internal audit function
Ensure that the business is able to align and comply with planned and proposed regulatory changes
Prepare timely and accurate reports against main KPI’s for the Senior Leadership Team and Board
They are looking for someone with the following :
High attention to detail.
Proven experience of working within a similar role, managing a data and compliance team within the Skills sector.
Excellent understanding and knowledge of funding rules and audit partners (ESFA, Ofsted) for Apprenticeship qualifications.
Strong skills and experience of using MIS and reporting systems such as PICS.
Experience of managing teams across a variety of workflows and processes including OneFile.
The ability to lead a team to achieve team / department objectives with strong people management skills
