TheSupplierQuality Leader role is responsible for collaborating withSourcingto guide our overall Supplier Management efforts,implementing thequality management system at the global suppliersites, drivingdefect data collection, and implementingcorrective / preventiveactions intended to avoid repetition of thesecosts.
Essential Duties&Responsibilities Implement standard procedures for global qualitysuppliermanagement to drive risk reduction for the Company whilestrivingfor efficiency and simplicity.
Providecrossfunctional training for supplier management proceduresandprocesses and monitor adherence. Establishesgoals / objectives andperformance metrics for the Sourcing Qualityfunctions for theCompany.
Ensuresproducts are supplied incompliance with customer and regulatoryrequirements.
Collaboratewith ITO and Application Engineering to ensureappropriate SupplierQuality costs are included in key bidproposals.
Review project quality documentationrequirements andidentify customer requirements that are required tobe transitionedto the supplier.
Leads SupplierQualificationprogram including supplier due diligence, auditsandscorecards
Regularly reports operationalandfinancial status, quality system health, and processimprovementimpact to Director Corporate Quality andbusinessstakeholders
Drives continuousimprovement atsupplier locations
Providesleadership to SupplierQuality Engineers to drive cost out throughoutsourcing and processimprovement initiatives.
Develops team toimprove quality techniques andcompetencies and improve flexibilityin assignment while ensuringquality standards
