Role Within one of our brands within the Middle East a position of a Travel consultant has become available As a Travel Consultant you will be responsible for selling upmarket luxury holidays to the destination Your clients will be discerning travelers requiring tailor-

made luxury travel solutions for their specific holiday needs As the first point of contact the Travel Consultant must engage each and every Agent in a professional and efficient manner Responsibilities -

Provide customers accurate information consistent with department standards document customer information recap itinerary and advise of correct terms and conditions -

Inputs complete preference profiles on all guests and confirming reservations on the Tourplan system - Is knowledgeable and able to sell the UAE as a destination and incorporates that information into the selling of hotel reservations excursions transfers restaurant bookings and information regarding area attractions and events -

Utilizes interpersonal skills to sell the destination - Takes reservations completely and accurately - Ensures requests challenges are handled promptly and replied to clients to within 24-

hours - Negotiates with suppliers for availability on contracted or special rates as and if required - Completes all double check and review processes as appropriate to the individual department such as reviewing bookings reviewing arrivals and other tasks as needed -

Processes VIP reservation sheets with special attention to accuracy as well as guest requests needs - Filing including creation of new files and maintenance of existing files to promote a well-

organized departmental environment - Promotes and applies teamwork skills at all times - Follow up the payment for all the requested package made by customer and ensure to close the file with the accounts department -

Make sure that the customer received their visas and all other requirement are completed - Putting together bespoke tailor-

made travel packages including flights hotels villa s private transfers and car hire - Achieving and exceeding set objectives relating to sales targets productivity and product knowledge -

Dealing with all telephone based esquires from travel agents direct customers and travel industry partners - Dealing effectively with all administration issues and queries -

Ensure you maintain accurate knowledge on all company products and ancillary services - Attend educational trips when required feeding back product knowledge to colleagues Requirements Experience Qualifications Required At least 3-

5 years experience in a similar role Fluency written and spoken in English Spanish Portuguese Skills Pro-active and strong personality Is able to challenge in a constructive manner Has the right attitude aptitude and displays positive behaviors Ability to think critically and share ideas and knowledge Systems Policy driven and is able to maintain business disciplines Computer literate -
