A Food & Beverage and Culinary Coordinator for the Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre will fully support with administrativeadministrative activities of the Food & Beverage and Culinary department

What will I be doing?

A Food & Beverage and Culinary Coordinator at Waldorf Astoria Dubai International Financial Centre is responsible for carrying out the daily administrative activities of the Food & Beverage and Culinary department and to support the team in the running of the operation by coordinating all information and communication to outlet managers, Chefs and team members.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards :

  • Handling the administrative duties and responsibilities of F&B and Culinary.
  • Follow up on team attendance & preparation of the timely rosters for all the F&B and Culinary team members.
  • Organize, control & restock office supplies.
  • Support in maintaining restaurant menus & updates.
  • Fully in charge of the reservations during festive season.
  • Maintain a good work relationship with other departments.
  • Able to work in all areas of Food and Beverage including Bar, Restaurant, Room Service and Conference and Events.
  • Assist the Management of the Food & Beverage department in admin related duties.
  • Follow cash handling procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of brand standards.
  • Strive to achieve departmental targets.
  • Ensure cleanliness of work areas.
  • Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation.
  • Comply with local licensing laws.
  • Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships

  • It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions :

  • Relevant degree, in a sales or business discipline, from an academic institution
  • Luxury hospitality experience in a similar role
