We are seeking a skilled, motivated and knowledgeable Google Analytics Specialist. This role requires in depth knowledge in Marketing Web Analytics (strategy, validation, reporting) specifically with Google Analytics.

The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical team members is a must. This role is critical in unlocking and scaling data-driven insights aimed at powering growth and profitability across 511tactical.

  • Capture Ecommerce web analytics data primarily in Google Analytics
  • Provide in-depth and insightful custom reports to communicate key metrics and findings
  • Recommend and work in conjunction with team to create A / B or multivariate tests to improve user experience and conversion
  • Document marketing strategies and processes and recommend improvements
  • Manipulate Google Analytics data into readily available forms for display; utilizing quantitative, and statistical analyses that will help to document the semantics of the data to make its meaning plain for team consumption
  • Analyze campaign data and provide insights to adjust strategies that deliver maximum return on investment
  • Support cross channel partners by generating custom reports to business needs.
  • Experience and comfort at presenting analytical findings in a group and individual setting
  • Plan, design, and build data analytics suite in Google Analytics
  • Establish standard process, procedure, and governance to : onboard, setup, maintain and track data for reach, engagement, performance, and other metrics.

  • 3+ years of experience in Web analytics for a direct-to-consumer channel, ideally in a retail category with heavy focus on advanced Google Analytics techniques
  • Google Analytics Certification preferred
  • Well-rounded understanding of the mechanics of Ecommerce retail channel site tracking and marketing
  • Proficiency in visualization tools like Power BI, and Looker
  • Experience with data products that package ecommerce information, site and mobile app instrumentation, and advertising performance
  • Deep knowledge of statistical techniques for measuring effectiveness of marketing, sales, and merchandising
  • Ability to work collaboratively with the Ecommerce marketing team to derive logically attributed data metrics and formulate highly effective marketing tactics and increase conversion rates.
  • Experience in SEM / SEO optimization a plus, but not required
