An established logistics company has created a procurement division in Dubai to primarily support large, US-based contractors in their operations throughout the Middle East, Asia, Europe and Africa.
Our clients typically acquire materials in accordance with the requirements of the U.S. Government Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation
The role will be responsible for Management of the strategic supplier program
Providing support to the Buying Team by researching and identifying potential suppliers to meet the needs of the division and supplier vetting
Verifying capabilities and financial viability.
Should have a minimum 3 years Procurement experience in a Logistics environment.
U.S. Government Federal Contractor’s Purchasing System; or at a minimum, the ability to learn and understand same
High level of English communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office applications and familiarity with web-based applications
