Greet customers enteringestablishments.
Count money in cash drawers atthe beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and thatthere is adequate change.
Receive payment bycash, check, credit cards, vouchers, etc.
Issuereceipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers.
Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
Resolve customer complaints, guide them and providerelevant information
Answer customers’questions, and provide information on procedures orpolicies.
Monitor checkout stations to ensurethat they have adequate cash available and that they are staffedappropriately.
Perform other relatedresponsibilities that may be assigned by the Line Manager from timeto time.
