A. Duie Pyle currently has an opening for a Full Time Ocean Import / Export coordinator!

Position Overview
Coordinate Ocean Freight shipments with Suppliers, Customers, Steamship lines, truckers, Inspection companies.
Performs quoting, contract negotiation, pricing, as well as booking / scheduling according to internal guidelines and customer expectations.
Management of warehouse inventory, container consolidation and deconsolidation.
Checks responses from counterparts and finalizes validation of required documents
Responsible for customer service and follow-up on shipment status, identifies incidents, and ensures resolution of incidents to meet and exceed customer expectations
Interacts with Customer Service, other Pyle team members ,Product, and Global Service Centers, if required
Job Requirements
Do you have what it takes?
Minimum 2-4 years of ocean, air, and international logistics experience
Knowledge of all modes of transport and customs
A quick learner with a Can-Do attitude and strong prioritization skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to learn new software
