Job Title : Certified Security Training officer

1. JOB PURPOSE
The Security Compliance & Training Manager is responsible for developing and delivering strategies and plans to enhance the general level of security awareness of Spark Security personnel and to train employees in more depth on certain security aspects.
Provides coaching, direction and guidance in all matters involving safety, compliance, physical security & loss prevention to locations where Spark operates.
Recommends actions to Spark management and operations to secure and enhance the company standard in all forms of security and follows up on them.
Responsibilities include enhancing employees skills, performance, productivity and quality of work. You will identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build appropriateness to the security program of client facility and the SLA as well.
Continually audit existing protocols, processes, and training programs to ensure operational efficiency, alignment, and the implementation of best practices.
This role will coordinate and / or support cross-functional programs and projects related to security operations, security-related training programs, risk assessment, emergency response and crisis management.
2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities and Duties% Time Spent
2.1. Development of a comprehensive training program centred on training Security Personnel at Spark Security Services.
2.2. Develops, plans, organizes, and directs the activities of on-site security personnel and ensures their actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and meets corporate and customer needs.
2.3. Trains and develops security teams with core competencies necessary to manage risk, stay ahead of security threats, and positions the team to effectively respond to incidents.
Design a learning framework and monitor learning outcomes.
2.4. Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, competency / performance appraisals and consultation with client / branch managers
2.5. Draw an overall or site-based training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations in terms of service deliverables stipulated in the contract agreement
2.6. Deploy a wide variety of training methods
2.7. Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions
2.8. Monitor and evaluate training program s effectiveness of Training Instructors / Mobile / Site supervisors
2.9. Resolve any specific problems arise in the sites and tailor training programs as necessary
2.10. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices
2.11. Conduct periodic mystery shopper exercise and update the DO with findings
2.12. Perform penetration test at various sites and evaluate the response of security personnel and tailor training program to mitigate deficiencies
2.13. Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards, training, and methods for identifying and protecting intellectual property assets, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, tampering, sabotage, or loss.
2.14. Coordinates and analyzes the result of the incident reporting system
2.15. Analyzes data to detect deficiencies and implement measures if needed and follows up on the implementation.
2.16. Work with the Branch / Operation Managers and customer representatives to understand customer expectations and recommend measures to enhance program performance.
2.17. Assess curriculum / training modules to ensure its meeting intended objectives and requirements, provide analysis, advice and / or implementation assistance on training strategies.
2.18. Evaluate instructional materials and trainings to ensure intended objectives and requirements are met and continually updating training materials to incorporate evaluation recommendations.
2.19. Lead the audits to be conducted by our ISO certification bodies and coordinate with the ISO representative.
2.20. Regular reporting of Training activities.
3.1. Education :
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
3.2. Experience :
Min. 10 years of experience in corporate security, law enforcement or military operations.
International experience in corporate security, law enforcement operations and related security technologies and special applications.
3.3. Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
a.Language(s) : Good communication in English is essential and Arabic would be plus.
b.Others HSE qualified and experienced.
A capable professional writer, able to research and prepare high quality, clearly-written awareness and training materials / SOP / Job Descriptions / Site Specific Policies and Procedures.
Proficiency in the use of common business software programs and familiarity with ERP systems.
Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
Track record in designing and executing successful training programs
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations / penetration, mystery shopper etc.)
Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals

3.4. Professional Certification :
a.License : Internationally Accredited Trainer; authorized to issue and award training certificates.
b.Driving License : Should have valid UAE driving license.
