The Modern Microprocessor Architectures laboratory in the Division of Engineering, New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a research associate / postdoctoral associate to work on the hardware acceleration of cryptographic primitives.
The successful applicant will drive a fascinating project on designing, verifying, and testing hardware that will accelerate various cryptographic primitives, including fully homomorphic encryption based on the ring learning with error problem, partial homomorphic encryption based on factorization, etc.
The candidate will work in a multidisciplinary environment consisting of PhD-level scientists, graduate students and undergraduate students.
Applicants must have a PhD in Computer Engineering or related field. Excellent hardware design skills (FPGA and / or ASIC) are required.
Experience with hardware design for cryptographic primitives will be a plus.
