At Amazon we strive to be the most customer-centric company on earth. We are currently looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Financial Analyst to join our Consumer Prime and marketing Finance team in MENA.

The role requires to partner closely with business and finance teams in UAE KSA & Egypt to drive customer / prime growth and marketing investments.

Primary responsibilities will include building top of funnel growth plans based on customer acquisition and retention strategy, prime growth initiatives, marketing budgets planning and controllership on overall budgets.

You will lead variance analysis for monthly / quarterly business reviews as well as partner with business teams to support key business decisions, execute ad-hoc projects, and provide insights as needed.

Key job responsibilities

  • Lead the Forecasting cycles : OP1 / 2, Gui, 3YF; Drive forecasting accuracy by understanding drivers of the business; Use of building blocks to explain drivers.
  • Lead discussions with XCM and AM marketing on fixed and variable marketing investments and drive efficiency improvement targets
  • Participate in the month-end close process; Write clear, concise narratives to explain the P&L performance to leaders. Drive the MBR, QBR process.
  • Be proactive to identify issues impacting the business, participate in Dive Deep, as needed
  • Align Path to Profitability (PtP) goals, drive execution on specific PtP levers.
