1 Review of Contract Terms Conditions to mitigate all contractual risks to the company from such conditions of contract 2 Carry out a variety of duties related to tendering and contracting for provision of services required for the project 3 Implement and ensure compliance with Company Policies and Contractual Procedures Principal Accountabilities 4 Select and prepare the adequate tendering and contracting strategy that ensures the best value for company s expenditure following the best practice and innovative ideas 5 Thorough knowledge of FIDIC and NEC Conditions of Contracts 6 Preparing extension of time claims 7 Preparing contractual and commercial aspects of any procurement support works and service tenders required by projects in consultation with the Project Managers 8 Prepare and compiles tender agreement purchase Order contract documentation with legal and finance groups to ensure viability legality interpretation and ease of administration 9 Provide expertise for Tenderers prequalification and processes bid lists including any prequalification contractual exercises and evaluations required to obtain relevant approvals 10 Participate in the technical contractual and unpriced commercial evaluation of tenders that then leads to the subsequent priced commercial evaluation of acceptable offers that includes professional adjustment factors depending on the nature of the job and tender 11 Prepare a comprehensive contractual commercial evaluation report and recommendations 12 Validate the development and implementation of all contractor procedures for conformity with the Contract 13 Check conformity of all contract documentation called for including guarantees performance bonds insurance and the like with agreed formats and processes as required 14 Assist in evaluating projects request for approval of vendors and subcontractors 15 Monitor performance of contractor s procurement activities in terms of timely delivery and quality 16 Administer contractor s reimbursement and valuation submissions and coordinates with the Finance Division as required 17 Review advise and negotiate as part of constituted team revised terms variation order requests change orders claims in liaison with responsible management 18 Assist project controls group in obtaining and assessing cost and progress data performance 19 Provide relevant data and assist the Contract Administration System and provides facilities for performance analysis of the historical tender contract matters 20 Coordinate the final closeout of completed purchase orders contracts by ensuring proper resolution of all outstanding issues 21 Provide input and reviews the contractual commercial aspect of Performance Reports on Contractors 22 Conduct all work activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner at all times by not taking on any tasks that are perceived as unsafe 23 Compile with the QHSE management system and report all incidents and near misses to QHSE representative
