What you willdo... Strategic Finance

  • Leads Strategic Finance function andidentifies initiatives to grow core and alternative channels;coordinates cross functional teams to drive insight, collaboration,and improved financial performance of critical projects.
  • Partners with other functions to enhance overallgovernance and funding process for key corporate initiatives; leadsdevelopment of business cases to drive optimal investmentdecisions.
  • Leads all financial aspects ofcompany's long-range plan and partners with teams toinfluence company's ongoing direction.
  • Applies detailed knowledge of competitive landscape,company-wide priorities, and financial markets toward thecompletion of ongoing and ad hoc analyses.
  • BusinessPerformance : FP&A Operations and ExecutiveReporting

  • Diagnose and influence thekey drivers of the business
  • Provide detailedfeedback, insight and recommendations to the business on itsfinancial performance, focusing on key drivers includingprofitability models, trends, and analytical needs
  • Lead the creation of the planning, budgeting andforecasting process across the organization (including monthlyclose, forecast, budget and risk mitigation plan)
  • Ensure review and alignment of financial plan with thecompany's operational rollout and implementationplans
  • Develop, own and manage the RiskMitigation Plan that ensure financial targets are met across thecompany
  • Provide decision support throughmodeling and analysis (e.g., operational businessmodeling)
  • Presents forecasting andfinancial / operational dashboards to executive management and boardof directors on a consistent basis.
  • Responsible for the management and operations of ourfinancial planning cloud-based tools (partnering with ourFP&A system team).
  • Responsible forleading the creation of a quarterly Q&A document in supportof our earnings call process.
  • Responsible forissuing external financial guidance recommendations tomanagement
  • Skills youhave...

  • BS Degree inFinance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; MBApreferred
  • 10+ years with financial analysisexperience, preferably with hospitality industryexperience
  • Proven leader with experience onbuilding and managing high performance teams
  • Excellent business-savvy with a consultative approach;ability to influence and collaborate with senior level leadersacross organizational lines
  • Excellentleadership skills and proven ability to develop relationships andestablish trust with associates at all levels
  • Strong project management skills; ability to effectivelylead implementation of key business initiatives.
  • Ability to communicate and explain complex financialissues to non-financial professionals and to interact well with alllevels within the organization
  • Proficient inMicrosoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel (financialmodeling and analysis techniques)
  • Strongethical nature able to foster an environment ofgovernance
  • Strong drive for data integrity,process definition, and organizational alignment
  • Results-oriented with a strong sense ofurgency
  • Ability to model Choice'sValues & Performance Principles of collaboration,performance excellence, sense of urgency, openness to new ideas,inclusion & diversity, integrity, customer focus, andrespect.
